This Happened has happened. Not so much a kgmr album as a cross-breed of the Half Ass Family Band and kgmr. Some songs posted on the kgmr myspace page.

Now that Evening with Fallen Tree has been released, (check out the listen page), we're making some noisy and much heavier music w/ two guitars, rhodes piano (played thru a bass amp), and drums. Look for new songs on the kgmr myspace page this week www.myspace.com/kgmrband

We are excited to be playing a fundraising show on May 8th in support of the documentary PLAY AGAIN. Our music for the evening will be fast and silly, including songs by The Halfass Family Band. Other local bands are playing as well, including 3 Leg Torso. The fundraiser will start at 7pm and music starts at 9. Holocene at 10th and Morrison in Portland. can't wait to finish mixing the next instrumental album, "Evening with Fallen Tree"

august 9 the next album is off to the mastering house next week. artist lizz leiser has drawn the album art, which is very exciting. the full vocal section and instrumental section ended up being too lengthy for one project, so we separated the two projects and we'll put out the vocal part first. release will be next month....

summer 07 our next album is in the mixing stages. originally, it was to be a double album, one with vocals and one instrumental. instead, we're slamming it all on one disc. the vocal section is about 43 minutes long and fairly gushing with distorted guitar, which pleases me greatly, as i love noise. the instrumental section features about seven songs, either solo piano or piano with trumpet. send an email and we'll keep you posted.
